There is a lot of rejoicing because I finally got a scanner again. I meant, for a long time, to scan these textures in on another computer/scanner but I kept forgetting, or I never had the chance (I always felt like I had to ask permission, too, I couldn't just be ninja, sadly). Some textures and some Avatar and then some Devil May Cry blah blah
Since I've been awful about getting my scanner back up, I compromised by making textures from one of my favorite Chris Cunningham music video. It's from Autechre by Second Bad Vibel. I got a lot of the bright pink/reddish color out of it that I adore. Since I just made them, I haven't be able to make icons with them yet (cry), so be creative!

It seems like forever since I've posted resources - please enjoy the handdrawn brush images and the textures :) As for the layouts, simple things and s1 - I am really too lazy to write up s1 tutorials so to use them you'll need to have knowledge of the s1 system, and general html to edit them; if you don't, well, you're probably not missing much so ( Read more... ) -

A few textures that I chopped from an old 1940's prayer book. It had an awesome bright red cover and I really couldn't help myself. The others are from watercolors that I painted that I thought would give things with the multiply effect some nice, muted tones.
